Story

I have very long hair. It has been growing for the last three years. A few months ago I contemplating having my hair cut off, so I went to the hairdressers. As I sat in the chair looking into the mirror I realised that I loved my long hair and I didn't want to cut it off, so I didn't. However, at a similar time I read about how The Little Princess Trust needed long hair donations in order to make long haired wigs for little girls. It was then that my perspective changed.

Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE my long hair and I am still pretty sad that it will all be cut off but I have never been one to live for myself. So I decided to donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust and to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. And because I don't do anything by halves I am having a wonderful event at Proper Coffee shop in Hassocks on Sunday 5th March 2017, 3-5pm for people to come and witness my hair being chopped off. You are ALL invited! If you have donated on this page, you will be able to get in for free or, if you haven't, you can donate a small amount on the door to get in.

Give whatever you can, no matter how small - when lots of people come together, great things can be achieved. Let's smash this £1,000 target! Thanks for listening to me waffle on!
