The Foundling Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital; London's first home for abandoned children and of three major figures in British history: its campaigning founder the philanthropist Thomas Coram, the artist William Hogarth and the composer George Frideric Handel.

Story

I am celebrating my 39th birthday on 7 September this year! If you would like to honour this great occasion (and I'm sure you would!), why not donate to the lovely charity where I work?

The Foundling Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, Britain's first and only institution for abandoned children. The museum, awarded five stars in The Guardian, receives no financial support from the government and is dependent on charity to safeguard the history and collections associated with this important piece of child care history.

And yes, it does mean that you don't have to buy me a present!

Thank you very much and do come and visit me at the museum!
