I was recently selected one of the top 20 finalists for the beauty pageant Miss India Worldwide UK.
I was ecstatic when i found out that i was chosen from thousands of other girls who had also applied. This is a life changing opportunity for me as i always had a passion for modelling and acting. I then got the chance to feature in a British film last year.
Another fantastic/perfect opportunity then arised for me to apply for Miss India uk.
 
Finals event will be held on 4th Feb 2012, Where i will go onto stage to impress the judges.
Miss India involves doing lots of charity work
I will be supporting and fundraising for UNICEF as my chosen charity,this is because from a young age i always did fundraising for UNICEF such as organising fashion shows.
This charity is about children around the world who do not get any food.
I will be doing a bollywood dance as my talent for the judges.
 
On the night of the final event the winner will be crowned and fly off to Suriname South America to compete against all the different countries.
This is truly an amazing experience, one in a life time and something to always remember. It will definately help me going forward in my acting/modelling career and broaden my horizons.
