Story
I am going to be running 1km every hour for 24 hours, starting at 20:00 on Monday 6th July until 20:00 on Tuesday 7th July.
Yemen is in the midst of the world’s greatest humanitarian crisis that only continues to deteriorate, leaving many families at breaking point. More than 20 million people are in need of urgent aid including 12 million children and I need your support to help reach my target and assist those in need. With COVID-19 now spreading rapidly, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency. Sanitation and clean water are in short supply. Only half of health facilities are functioning, and many that remain operational lack basic equipment like masks and gloves, let alone oxygen and other essential supplies to treat the coronavirus. Many health workers are receiving no salaries or incentives, and 10.2 million children don't have access to basic healthcare.
Food parcels are £25.00 and water tank are £150.00
This charity continues to deliver aid to the most needy areas in Yemen and your continued donations and support will help make a huge difference.
Thank you for your support and please share the link with your contacts. Just £11 can provide enough food to save a malnourished child’s life and keep them recovering for a week.
I will be posting updates and live streaming highlights on my instagram account @duffruns24in24
