Ride and Stride · 1 April 2021

You may have walked with Christ your whole life. You may be taking tentative first steps in faith. All are welcome here at St Francis. We're an Anglican (Church of England) church in the Diocese of St Albans. Or you might just need to know that we're a supportive, 150-strong community where you can seek peace, find joy and feel God's love. We warmly invite you to worship with us. Or simply join us for a coffee to find out more. However you'd like to meet us, we look forward to meeting you.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Our fundraising challenge is part of St Francis Church's Easter Ride and Stride  event.

Each participant has been challenged to cover as many miles or steps as they can during a two-week period.  Poppy decided that she would like our main activity to be a bike ride as she recently learned to cycle without stabilisers.  Since she is five, we thought it would be fitting to try to ride five miles.  On Saturday 10 April we will start at our house, ride through Sherrardspark Wood and along part of the Ayot Greenway.  We will then stop for a picnic lunch and afterwards cycle back to complete the route.  This will definitely test her skills and stamina.  Any money that you could spare will really spur her on and will go to a great cause.
