Hello, my name is Poppy Weatherall.

I am 8 years old and I need to tell you about the worldwide cancer crisis.
People are being affected from the bottom of Scotland to the top of Africa and all around the world.

My Granny Liz sadly past away from Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 52. I never got to meet her however I hear she was a lovely lady. I don’t want any other children not to know their grannies so I thought I would plan a fundraiser.

This fundraiser is a little something I like to call a 10k. I am going to
run with my Dad and a few other people from Maryburgh to Strathpeffer. This event will be taking place on Saturday 18^th March at 1pm. I would like to raise £100 for Cancer Research UK.
