We are Rainbows Hospice, our mission is to support the children that need us most

Story

In 1995, when Dad was last Mayor of Melton, Bella and Mum did a skydive and raised over £5,000 for his charity - Rainbows Children’s Hospice, who provide care and support to life-limited children and their families.

Twenty Five years on and Dad is Mayor again, but this time all the Grahams  are going  to jump for Rainbows Hospice.

My work, G Research will very generously match any donations made to me up to £10,000 and 100% of donations will go directly to Rainbows Hospice. So for every £1 you donate, I'll get that matched by a further £1!

Sharp sighted people might have noticed a “non Graham”! My sister Laura is having a baby so her husband, James, is jumping instead. Still doing her part though, whilst we are in the air, Laura will be leading the crawling and toddling challenge with the grandchildren.

An added challenge for Dad is that he has to lose over a stone to meet the rigid weight allowance. Therefore, he is on a strict diet and exercise regime -not easy when it includes weekends in France and the family holiday in the Isle of Wight!

The big day is Monday 23rd September and we would be so grateful for any contributions.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
