Staff from Portafina, a pensions company based in Rochester, Kent, are pushing themselves to the limit in the Ride to Cure Diabetes, a fast-paced exhilarating static bike competition in the City of London organised by JDRF.
The event is being held at Paternoster Square, next to the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral on 18 May, with teams of five cycling as far as possible within eight minutes.
JDRF is a charity that Portafina are very passionate about and holds a very special place in the MD,Jamie Smith Thompson, heart. His daughter, Isla, has type 1 diabetes and he knows first-hand how tough the condition can be, not only for her, but his whole family.
So help us raise the most we can for such an amazing cause!
