Anyone who has visited Porthdinllaen will know why it is loved by so many people, an idyllic beach far removed from the hustle and bustle. 

It is this wonderful quality however that also makes it difficult to reach by the emergency services. 

For this reason we have worked with the 'not for profit' charity Welsh Hearts and have managed to get a defibrillator, based in the Ty Coch Inn, which will be available to residents and visitors of the beach.  Of course we hope it never needs to be used but in those vital minutes waiting for the emergency services, a life could be saved with this piece of equipment.

If we can raise enough funds to cover the cost of the defibrillator donated by Welsh Hearts it would be fantastic.  Any more donations will go to this wonderful charity who work so hard to make a difference to people's lives in Wales, see their website and the great work they do at www.welshhearts.org
