The Salvation Army' Covid 19 Community support
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
Supporting those who are struggling during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Story

The Salvation Army worldwide is reaching out to meet the needs of local communities and those most affected by the pandemic.

In Portsmouth we are continuing to offer support to the most vulnerable through our Good Neighbours befriending and shopping service. Our Nursery remains open for Key worker and vulnerable children. In addition to our walk in Food bank we are part of a City Wide Initiative to provide Food Parcels to those who are financially impacted by the current crisis. Although we are being supported by generous food donations from partners such as Morrison's and our service is without charge there are additional costs to providing an effective service such as supplementary food items for those with special dietary needs.

As Christmas approaches we also need your support with our Toy Appeal.

If you would like to help us make a difference then we would be grateful for whatever you can afford.
