North Staffs Mind supports adults, children and young people across North Staffordshire who are affected by a mental health problem. We are an independent local charity offering information and a wide range of mental health services.

Story

In February 2016, we suddenly lost a very close friend Edd Ridgway, and on 12th June, 31 of Edd's close family and friends will be running the Potters 'Arf Marathon with the intentions to raise money for "The Maccas Project" which was set up as project to help raise money for North Staffs mind, following the loss of another one of ours and Edds close friends, Thomas McCauley, who suffered from mental illness before he passed in August 2012. Edd was an ambassador for the project and ran the Potters ‘Arf in aid of North Staffs Mind; and we thought what better way to honour Edd than for a large group of his close friends and family to all attempt the very same feat in aid of a charity that is so close to Edds and all our hearts.
