PoundToy are delighted and honoured to announce our Partnership with Sue Ryder & Manorlands Hospice, a leading local & national charity that provides excellent care and support for children & families who are suffering with many complex and life-threatening issues.

We are working close with Sue Ryder to bring fun and unique events to the local community over the next year in order to raise money for Manorlands. All of the money raised in our events will be going to Sue Ryder.

To commemorate our partnership with Sue Ryder, we are sponsoring the Manorlands PaintRush that takes place on Sunday 28th July 2019 in Keighley, four members of the PoundToy team will be throwing paint at the runners including Jack, Christine, Charlotte and Elliot. Four other members of the PoundToy team including Joe, Ellie, Mark and Dannielle will also be running along with the other participants and having the paint thrown at them! This event is a fantastic day out for the entire family and is perfect for getting the community together and having fun whilst raising money for a great cause. 

Joe from the PoundToy team will also be running the Hull Marathon which takes place on Sunday 22nd September 2019, he will be wearing a Sue Ryder sponsored vest to spread the word about this charity and the amazing things they do in order to increase donations. It's also great for getting people active and bringing people together which are two things we believe strongly in at PoundToy.

PoundToy are attempting to break the world record for the longest slip 'n' slide (611.7 m) with their PoundToy "Slip 'n' Slime" Slide which will involve participants sliding the track whilst covered head to toe in slime from the PoundToy website! The event will include food and drink stalls as well as other activities that are great for getting the whole family involved. This annual event will get the local community to work together in a fun environment that supports and promotes the Sue Ryder cause.

PoundToy are also donating toys to the Manorlands Garden Party which takes place on Sunday 14th July 2019 at the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Keighley. This event is great for showing the community how their generosity that's shown through the donations they give affects the charity! It will include a variety of stalls, entertainment, refreshments and attractions to keep the entire family entertained.
