Having seen domestic abuse cause pain and upset to a number of my relatives over the years, and never felt well positioned to offer any support, this opportunity to join the Behind Closed Doors team felt like a good way to start supporting those sufferers, and survivors, and to help spread the word about the great work that Behind Closed Doors do as a charity. 

My mother-in-law, Gill Brook, volunteers for the charity as Company Secretary, and it is her involvement that has served as inspiration for me to put my hand up and join the team.

Behind Closed Doors' vision is to build lives free from Domestic abuse.

Your donation will contribute to their new Volunteer Programme where they hope to increase their capacity to be able to reach more people in need.
