Talented members of the our British Christadelphian community will be performing some of your favourite contemporary Christian songs to produce an hour-long concert that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own sofa. The line up will be announced as the event approaches, so watch this space. Lyrics will be provided on screen in case you want to sing-along. 

I'm doing this for two worthwhile reasons. Firstly, we all need cheering up at this difficult time and nothing does this like coming together in fellowship. Secondly, we would like to raise money for the Christadelphian Meal-a-Day UK, who continue to support their projects across Africa at this difficult time. 

While the number of Coronavirus cases in Africa are currently very low, there is significant concern that if the virus does spreads there, people in rural areas and the poorest urban areas (the places where CMaD UK typically operates) won’t have access to the necessary sanitation, hygiene and health services to recover. They don’t have the luxury to socially distance themselves as many of them live in tightly packed slums. Nor do they have the option to stock the fridge with a weekly shop. Further, up to three quarters of people living in rural parts of these countries do not have hand-washing facilities at home. Many of the orphanages we work with have been shut down by the government leaving the kids with very few options of where to go. We feel compelled to help and hope you will support us in our efforts to raise money to combat the issues and growing fear that our brothers and sisters in Africa are experiencing.
