I’m an events promoter in my 30s who in lockdown has gotten into cycling again for the first time since I was a kid most likely. Cycling is good for your fitness, good for the environment and fun as hell too! I’ve found it has really helped me mentally during this time too as has gotten me outside and allowed me to set goals. 

And so I’ve decided to embark on a challenge & raise some money for charity while I do it. The plan is to cycle to every london football club in the top 6 leagues in English football (as of April 2021). There are twenty clubs in total; some are close to myself like Millwall and Charlton but others are gonna be a trek and half. All journeys will start from my home address in Greenwich, I’m not doing any of the journeys to time but will be posting pictures from along the route. To make it fair I’ll be doing them in alphabetical order per division (so starting with Arsenal in the premier league and ending with Welling United from National League South). The first cycle is going to be on Tuesday 4th May and you can follow me on Instagram @thelifecoach_20 where I’ll be posting videos and photos from the trips as well as the maps etc. I’m hoping to finish these before the end of May, not long after the FA Cup final takes place as well as the end of the Premier League season. 

So that’s the challenge but what about the charity... The charity I’ve chosen to do this all for is Shelter. The past twelve months plus have been hard for us all, but while many of us have had the luxury of being furloughed or working from home and able to watch Netflix, there’s been people living in conditions that are so bad and out of place to one of the richest nations in the world. They do fantastic work at all times but have been working harder then ever throughout this pandemic dealing with overwhelming number of calls and enquiries.
