More than 10 million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Donate now.

Story

Crews from Preston Fire Station will be cycling their way across the width of Ukraine, a total distance of 1263 kilometres in a day, to support those affected by the current conflict in Ukraine.

Starting at 8am on the 1st April based in front of the fire station, crews will use exercise bikes to rack up the miles. Please show your support whatever way you can or come by and say hello on the day.


Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing hundreds of thousands to flee. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries.
