Story

A while back I said I was going to run a marathon every second year in memory of Greg's life and to raise money for the charity that supported Greg and his family.  I appreciate that folks give a lot of money to various charities throughout the year so no pressure at all.  As I said I plan to do something every other year so hopefully I can build modestly over time and anything we can raise each time is hugely appreciated but ultimately it's an opportunity for me to spend a lot of time remembering a great friend and keeping his spirit alive.

Unlike last time, training has been going well and I've clocked a lot of KMs (Singapore is metric) so hopefully I can do the big man a little prouder this time but consistent with laying down the excuses last time, it's going to be extremely hot but the suffering only heightens the achievement and reinforces the reasons for doing it in the first place.

This year I'll also be lucky enough to celebrate (hopefully) at the finishing line with S Pal, who's making a guest appearance, Francesca, the kids and other Singapore friends, so should be a "fun" day.

I promise to share my finishing time this year!

Cheers all!
