Blaine, Ciara, Zack and Matt's Half Marathon

At the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020 my Papa (dad's dad) passed away. Papa loved a joke and a prank, so the fact that he passed away peacefully on April Fools Day was a fitting tribute to his comedic personality.
Towards the end of his life, he lived with Lewy Body Dementia, and this was particularly tricky given that he lived in Canada. We have still been unable to properly celebrate his life with the whole family due to us living some 3515 miles away. So in memory of him, my dad (Blaine), brother (Zack), and boyfriend (Matt) will be running a Half Marathon (just 13 of the 3515 miles distance between Brampton and Milton Keynes). We will therefore also be running to raise some money for Dementia UK - a charity that helps to support families with the changes that a Dementia diagnosis can bring.
Anyone that knows me well, will know that I am a complete hypochondriac and have dodgy ankles - so this really will be quite a challenge. If you can't donate, even some words of encouragement or cheerleading on the day would be very much appreciated. Feel free to follow us all on Strava to track our journey (which will no doubt be filled with me complaining that my ankle is sore).
