Pride Park HPE Torch Relay · 16 November 2015

Children First Derby is a Derby based charity that was founded by a local resident in 1974. The Charity was established to support families and children in particular those who have experienced, or are likely to experience, violence or maltreatment in their homes

Story

The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Torch Relay started in Aberdeen on Monday 2 November and will work its way to all the UKI sites before reaching London and Discover on 2 December, raising money for local charities along the way. The torch will reach HPE Pride Park in Derby on Monday 16 November.

Our challenge is to add 10 Kilometres to the Torch’s journey, which we plan to do by cycling and walking Pride Park laps, and then taking the torch on a tour of the sights of Derby.

This promises to be a great event and a tremendous opportunity for us to raise funds for charity. All proceeds will be donated to Children First Derby, a local charity doing great work in the community.
