From 28 August to 5 September Charles, Caroline, Sophie and Eleanor cycled 350 km to raise money for the Wallace Collection.
Our trip from Leipzig to Nuernberg took us through some of the most beautiful towns in Germany - Weimar, Coburg, and Bamberg. It also took us to 3000 ft in the 'Thueringer Wald', up hills which we nicknamed 'Mephisto's' after Faust's tale. The adventures continued right to the end with a buckled wheel and a puncture in the last 10 miles !
We are supporting the Wallace Collection as it is one of the Uk's finest museums, but relies for over 50% of its funding from non-government donations. Currently there is an intense funding need for urgent conservation and building repair work.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It is the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Your donations are of huge importance and gratefully received by the Wallace Collection. Thank you !
