In memory of Steve Edwards

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Steve, surrounded by his family and so wonderfully cared for by the staff at Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed, sadly passed away on 15th December 2016 having put up a good fight. A larger than life character and “with the body of an athlete”, Steve was our boss and the cause of many belly-aching, laugh out loud moments (not all appropriate!), as well as a regular provider of cream cakes... they say sugar is a good hangover cure! We miss him terribly and in his name, the ladies (past and present employees) and friends of Primary Times Head Office, are undertaking a sponsored walk between two pubs that he referred to as his “local” at various stages of his life. Starting at The Unicorn and finishing at The Row Barge, on 16th September we will walk the 10 kilometres and hope to raise £500 to donate to the Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed.
We hope you will be able to support us in our farewell to Steve and, in anticipation, we thank you for your donation. Love from Marion, Carol, Sue, Niki, Sarah, Katy, Julie, Marie, Tina, Sally, Helen, Carolyn, Alison, Hayley, Anita,
