At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Prime pledges to raise £250K as lifetime partners with Alzheimer's Society.

In 2018, Prime Appointments set a goal to raise £100,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society. Co-founder of the business and best friend to Prime MD Robyn Holmes, Margaret Locke, had tragically been diagnosed with the disease at just 51, forcing her to leave the business and the friends she loved. Over the ensuing years, we could only watch as the disease gradually destroyed her and her families lives.

In conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society, the leaders in searching for a cure for the disease, Prime made it their mission to raise money to support them.

In August 2023, just five years into the ten-year time frame, Prime Appointments hit £200,000 and began to push on to the new target of £250,000.

In 2024, Jack O'Brien (Director) and Craig Turnbull (Marketing Manager), as well as Jack and Charlie Milsom, raised £11,015 by running the London Marathon.

We have joined forces with wonderful friends and family to continue raising as much as possible for the Alzheimer’s Society. We have incredibly raised over £200,000 collectively. Take a look at our team page - together in the fight against Alzheimer's Disease.
