Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - you
didn't think I'd let this year go by without some kind of charity challenge,
now did you?!
So here I am again, having now completed the 13-mile "MIDNIGHT WALK" in just 4.5 hours, to raise money for a local charity, The Princess Alice Hospice. They are
a charity who provide patient care and support free of charge, giving
outstanding end of life care to adult patients and support to their families
and friends. The hospice costs around £6M a year to run, which is around
£16.5K a day with only 25% funding received from the NHS, so they need our help
to provide the pallatial care to those people who sadly won't get better.
I walked with my trekking buddy Tracy (she needed someone
to hold her hand in the dark!) and after our success in the Sport Relief Mile
earlier this year, a few more miles in the dark wasn't a problem!
All donations will be gratefully received. Big thanks. Kerry x.
