Story
Joel attended weekly sessions of tailored conductive education at Footprints between the ages of 3 and 9. We know how much this extremely special place means to local children with motor and communication difficulties and their families.
General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. The 2.6 campaign has been launched to help UK charities at this time.
The Prinns can't bear the idea that Footprints might be forced to close due to financial difficulty, and so it's time for us to rise to the 2.6 challenge! Please donate to this wonderful cause if you can afford to, we are very grateful for all the help we can get to keep Footprints afloat.
And just let us know if you'd like us to add your own imaginative challenge to our list and join us on 26th April or during the week that follows.
Joel is going to try 26 new foods (those who know Joel will know that this is a big challenge)
Eph is going to come up with 26 different words written upside down on a calculator
Melissa is going to run 2.6km on a treadmill
Simon is going to learn how to say thank you in 26 different languages
Stuart is going to lift weights for 26 minutes on his 75th birthday (30th April). Kettlebell figure of 8, arm curls, front, side and rear rises.
Crispin, also in lockdown, is going to identify 26 creatures in his garden in Bali
Liz is doing planks for 26 minutes
Anaya and Jo are running 2.6 miles
Sarah is doing 26 yoga sun salutations
James is running 260 times around the garden

THANKS EVERYONE FOR GETTING INVOLVED!!!
