Story

Priority Drilling acknowledge that our employees are our greatest asset.  We understand the importance of the health & wellbeing of all our employees.  Through this challenge we hope to promote a positive health habit that will benefit employees while also helping out a charity close to so many of our hearts.

The challenge is to reach the goal of 10,000 steps per day for the month of September as recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO)

As more people turn to us for information, support and advice and as new needs emerge, we are responding by extending our Nurseline hours and extending the phone service to a general information & advice line to support those with non-medical issues. We have introduced remote counselling sessions for cancer patients that are unable to access face-to-face services. There is a 20% increase in demand for the Night Nursing service which is operating as normal for now. Our dedicated volunteer driver service continues to take cancer patients to their chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately with Covid-19 having forced the cancellation of our major events and the closure of our charity shops, your support is needed now, more than ever. Your donation can make a real and lasting impact.

About the charity

We are a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together we are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.
