James wanted everyone to know that he felt blessed to have the extra time of over three wonderful years, following his diagnosis. He spent this doing all the things he loved - enjoying time with his friends, children, grandaughter and travelling with Lelia.

Marie Curie Hampstead were not only wonderful in their meticulous care for James, but such a support to his family. They maintained his dignity throughout his final days, and his passing was very peaceful and pain free.
