Life throws hurdles at us; and unfortunately I've been thrown a massive hurdle which I'm going to overcome with your help!

Just recently I've been diagnosed with a Grade II Brain Tumour on the front right lobe of my brain. The best way to describe (or compare) this nasty object is to an Apple.

So... when you drop an Apple, its flesh begins to bruise ...and there is nothing worse than a bruised apple, right? With time, this bruise gets blacker and blacker, spreading wider and deeper until the Apples insides has eventually rotted and turns black inside. This essentially means that my life has become a ticking time bomb. I don't know when the tumour will grow bigger.

I wish I could say that this hasn't affected me at all, because it has; from experiencing chronic headaches on a daily basis to struggling to walk up a flight of stairs without my heart racing to occasionally feeling so weak as if I'm about to collapse. For whatever reason, this is just an unfortunate hurdle which has come on my journey. But like with all hurdles, you have to have faith that you will get over them or you'll fall flat on your face!

Whilst I accept that this tumour will likely stay with me for the rest of my life, I REFUSE to let it BEAT ME! In fact, I want you to help beat it with me by donating some money to raise awareness for my chosen charity 'The Brain Tumour Charity'.
