Story

I was fortunate to be successful in my chosen field of professional endeavor. However, not everyone is lucky enough to have been equipped with the advantages I enjoyed as a young person looking for a strong start in life. I am passionate about giving young people with adversity the chance to win and am supporting The Prince's Trust in this mission by walking up the three highest mountain peaks in the Republic of Ireland in one day (Sept 30th). Please support me by pledging as much as you are able to donate.

Key facts:

  • Mountains The MacGillycuddy Reeks of Kerry are Ireland’s highest mountains and include the only three peaks in Ireland over 1,000 metres, Corrán Tuathail at a lofty 1,038 metres, Binn Chaorach at 1,010 metres and Caher standing at 1,001 metres.

  • Distance Total of 12km

  • Time 7+ hours
It is a Challenging graded route and most definitely NOT to be underestimated and quite often is!!!  Requires a high degree of fitness gained from regular exercise/gym work.  Arguably one of the finest walks in Ireland, this 12km trek takes in Ireland’s 3 highest mountains and truly provides breathtaking views and exciting challenges. Being comfortable with heights, sheer drops and being prepared to use hands is essential as this route involves scrambling over extremely steep rocky ground with no trails.

100% of donations will go to The Prince's Trust to be used to support young people transform their lives. The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198).
