Prostate United 2021 is a fundraising challenge taking place throughout November 2021 for staff members working for professional football clubs.

Story

Hi everyone,

Morecambe Football Club’s back room staff have accepted the challenge from Prostate United which has been set up by the back room staff at Rotherham United back in 2018. The Challenge is to run or bike everyday in November. The distances are 10km run or 25km bike, 5km run or 15km bike & 3km run or 10km bike.

The staff aiming to complete the challenge are

Olly Howse (1st Team Sports Rehabilitatior) 10km run challenge

Harry Taylor (1st Team analyst) 5km run challenge

Dr Dale Kalloo (1st Team Doctor) 3km run challenge

Other staff are going to attempting their own challenges over the month and some will be helping out and joining for some of the runs during the month.

In the UK 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Making this the most common cancer, in the male population. There is lots more info @ https://prostatecanceruk.org. The aim of the challenge is to raise as much money as possible and awareness of prostrate cancer

We will use the clubs social media sites and this page to keep you up to date with the progress.
