Jonathan's shaving his head!

Jonathan Pryor is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Shaving my head! · 1 February 2022

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, the Little Princess Trust can make them a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity.

February 2022 will mark 2 years since I last had my haircut as I started growing it during the first lockdown.

It's now 33cm long, so I'll be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust, and hoping to raise £550 alongside this (the amount it costs to make the wig).

While you don't have to shave your head when you donate to the Little Princess Trust, I'll be doing so so I can donate the maximum length of hair.

I'm all booked in for February 1st, so I'm in for a cold few weeks!

Since 2006, the charity has provided more than 12,000 wigs and have given grants totalling more than £15 million towards research projects focussed on finding more effective treatments for childhood cancers - so please donate generously!
