Thank you for taking time to visit our fundraising page. We are doing a walk to raise money for Prostate Cancer. Six months ago Alan had a routine PSA test and when the results came back we were suddenly thrust into our own cancer journey. Prostate cancer affects so many men and their families, but the research and clinical trials that are currently taking place are making great strides towards cures and longer life expectancy.

Alan has just started a SABR Pace nodes clinical trial with some very aggressive, but hopefully very effective, radiotherapy to his prostate and lymph nodes, which he is approaching with his usual positive attitude and stoicism. We are hoping the results of this trial will lead to kinder and quicker treatments in the future.

We are only doing a short family walk but with ages from 3-76 yrs it will be fun and will hopefully raise some much needed money to help Alan and other men in his position.
