The Mace Foundation is our charity, established in 2012 to help Mace people support the charities and causes that matter most to them. Your charity, your choice. All around the world, we’re helping Mace colleagues to leave a lasting legacy and making a positive impact in their local communities.

Story

This May Michael, Rachel, James and Joshua will be embarking on the challenge of cycling "The Way of the Roses", 170 mile coast-to-coast cycle route in 3 days.

They are doing it on behalf of Mace's Private Sector Project Management department, to raise at least £1,200 for the Mace Foundation, which in the last 6 years has donated over £2.59m to hundreds of charities and worthy causes, helping thousands of people around the world. The money raised from the challenge will support the Foundation to strength its charity partnerships with Construction Youth Trust, LandAid, Mind, Parkinson’s UK, YHA Breaks for Kid and support our employee match funding programme.

The team will be starting in Morecambe in the west and will end their trip in, after much blood, sweat & tears,  Bridlington on Yorkshire's renowned east coast, passing through some of the finest (/hilliest) landscape in the country, using plenty of chamois cream in the process.

Please delve into your pockets and support us in any way you can, no amount is too big or too small, and all donations are greatly appreciated. All the support will help us to achieve our goal of traversing the width of England within 3 days, and all funds raised will be going to this great Foundation and helping them continue their great work supporting various charities.

Gift aid: Please note that some of the sponsorship will cover costs of the challenge so any persons related to you (wife, husband, civil partner, brother, sister, grandchild etc.) are not eligible to apply for gift aid. When prompted by Gift Aid please select you are not eligible to claim.
