Pudsey Live at Home Scheme is raising money for MHA
Story
Pudsey Live at Home is part of MHA, an award-winning national older person's charity providing care and support services for more than 18,000 people. We run a range of groups and activities within the Pudsey area.
The Scheme aims to provide support and friendship to older people, living in their own homes in the Pudsey area. To help maintain independence, improve well-being and reduce isolation.
During these unprecedented times, Pudsey Live at Home have adapted the support that we provide to our members. We are very aware that the current Covid-19 situation and lockdown guidelines can have a detrimental effect on the wellbeing of older people within our local community. We are currently responding to the crisis by providing one-to-one telephone befriending to over 160 members, shopping services, prescription collections, referrals and signposting into other agencies and a weekly fish and chip delivery service.
To continue providing the valuable work we do, we are reliant on the support from our local community and the general public and would welcome any donations you are able to make.
