Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival comes to town!

The worlds biggest rugby festival will be held for the first time in Scotland in 2008 with over 3000 visitors expected to take part in the 17th Air New Zealand Golden Oldies Rugby Festival being staged in Edinburgh 1 to 8 September.
There are 110 teams registered from 18 Countries - East Lothian will be represented by the Puffin Gannets a select squad of 25 over 35 year olds from Gullane, North Berwick and Dunbar who all play out of North Berwick Rugby Club.
There is a full program of events organised for the week with games being held on the Tuesday 2nd September, Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th- the festival commences with a procession from the Castle along Princes Street on Monday September 1st.
The Puffin Gannets squad appreciate the support of family, friends, fellow players and sponsors and in conjunction with their participation in the Golden Oldies Festival hope that they will choose to support their chosen charity, Hearts & Balls.
