Story

FREE Virtual Fitness Day hosted by celebrities and TV doctors is launching this month raising funds for our NHS

Workout with Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden, Hollyoaks actresses Sarah Jane Dunn, Gemma Merna and Jazmine Franks, TV Presenter Laura Hamilton, Emmerdale hunk Anthony Quinlan, Love Island star Connagh Howard, TV doctor’s Tom Naylor and Emeka Okorocha, Paralympic gold medalist Richard Whitehead MBE and more

As the nation and the world continue in the battle against COVID-19, it’s no secret that our NHS has come under massive strain. So much so that as we entered into the new year, the UK also entered into its third national lockdown, to help slow the spread of the virus.

With all UK residents being urged to work from home and to only leave the house for essential travel, millions of us are stuck in doors, and with gyms and fitness classes closed, we’re unable to start the new year how we usually would.

In a bid to get the nation moving and support our physical and mental wellbeing, Manchester-based fitness and recovery brand Pulseroll are hosting a FREE online Virtual Fitness Day in partnership with NHS Charities Together, with a complete mix of famous faces onboard.

On Saturday 6th of February , Pulseroll will live stream fitness classes from a whole host of UK talent, including: soap stars, Reality TV royalty, sporting legends, Olympic athletes, fitness instructors and the real heroes, our NHS doctors, to show the nation just how easy it is to work out in the comfort of your own home.

Taking fitness virtual, the live streamed event will feature hourly classes starting at 7am for the early birds, all the way up to 7pm in the evening - so there’s absolutely no excuse not to join in!

Pulseroll’s Virtual Fitness Day will be completely free for any UK residents to watch and workout along with their favourite celebrities. All we ask is that anyone taking part in the event donates whatever they can to NHS CharitiesTogether via our Just Giving page.

Whether that’s £1, £10, £100 or even more - the smallest amount can make the biggest difference if we all do it together!

For those wanting to take part in Pulseroll's Virtual Fitness Day, you can register your interest via the contact form at pulseroll.com/fitnessday .
