Westminster House Youth Club is a charity based in Peckham, South East London. It provides purposeful activities, both recreational and educational for young people aged 8-18. The local area is beset by a range of inner city problems, e.g. drugs, gang violence, poor educational opportunities, etc. The Club aims to support young people to make positive life choices.

Story

Purcell House is home to ten girls in the sixth-form at Westminster School. This year we have decided to support Westminster House Youth Club: a youth club to which the school is very closely linked through the many hours which Westminsters dedicate to this organization.

To this end, we are going to do a communal 24-hour cycle, on stationary bikes in Ashburnham Garden. We will start on the penultimate day of term at 11.15 am and finish the following day at 11.15 am, right after the end of term. We hope you will pay us a visit!

It is youth club that has recently come under financial strain. It is a youth club that has provided stability to those who are in desperate need of it. It is a youth club that needs £ 3,000 a month to run.

This is our target.

Please donate generously; it really can make a difference.

Many Thanks,

Ariane Moshiri, Nicola Mason, Jade Jackman, Ally Leigh, Florence Li, Rebecca Lee, Tali Stevens, Laura Cavenagh, Rhian Williams and Mez Belo-Osagie.
