Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 12th May 2018, Pure Gym Blackburn Staff and Members will be taking part in a gruelling obstacle course pushing both our mental and physical abilities to their limits in order to raise money for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

The Royal Manchester Children's hospital does a lot for looking after our children and the least we can do is assist them in running their hospital that slightly bit better.

One child that was recently looked after was 9 year old Yahya Afinwala. Yahya was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer at a very young age and was being treated at the hospital for 6 months prior to his sudden death.

Being in hospital at such a young age is frightening and the hospital did an amazing job making him feel at home and at ease.

Yahya is only one example of children being treated at this hospital. There are many hundreds of children being treated here, unknown to them whether they will ever make a full recovery and every pound donated will make a difference.

Thank you once again.
