Celebrate the Paralympics at PureGym Clifton Moor
by taking part in the PureGym Paralympics for International Service. From 12pm  this Saturday 17th September, our trainers will be challenging you to take them on.

Have a go at

  1. TRX pistol squats
  2. Single arm rope pull down
  3. Single arm KB swing (x10)
  4. Single leg rebok step box jump
  5. Single arm plan (feet touching)
  6. Max KG single arm dumbbell clean and press
  7. 50% body weight bench press
  8. Single leg  burpee over rebok hurdle
  9. Armless speed run (500m) and cycle (1km)
  10. Single leg row

Entry is just £2. We’ll also be raffling off a Personal Training session worth £35 and we’re doing it all for a great cause.

We’ll be fundraising for York-based human rights charity International Service, which works alongside people with disabilities across the globe to overcome discrimination and prejudice and take an active role in life.

International Service works with local organisations to deliver local priorities, from training teachers to deliver inclusive sports sessions in schools in Burkina Faso to training Ghanaian basket-weavers with disabilities to turn their talent into an income.

International Service has a history of supporting Paralympic sport: in 2012, they supported the Burkina Faso team during their stay in the UK.

All the money raised on the day will go to support International Service’s work in Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Bolivia with people with disabilities.
