Welcome to the Purgatory Players' 9th Annual Gospel Turkey event, benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank on Sunday, November 21 from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM CDT.

For most of the year, the Purgatory Players perform to raise money and awareness for the Central Texas Food Bank. The annual Gospel Turkey is a special event held the Sunday before Thanksgiving with an extraordinary array of guests and and in the past, an appearance by the Gospel Turkey himself, always witty and sometimes dancing. With COVID-19 still upon us, the Turkey may not make it this year. But that won't stop the amazing music and the fun spirit of the Gospel Turkey from being with us!

The Purgatory Players are hoping that this year’s Gospel Turkey event will be able to raise much needed donations for the food bank to get Central Texas families across 21 counties the help they desperately need right now. An anonymous donor has generously pledged to match the first $2,000 raised at this year's event!
