Us, The Purple Angels (aka the nutty nurses), and a few of our friends, are taking part in the Thames 10 Moonlight Walk in aid of the hospice. This is where we have the privilege of looking after patients and their families/friends in their final days ensuring a comfortable, pain free and relaxed environment with all the support they need. We provide physical, psychological and emotional support for both patients and their families then the end of life is nearing. BUT.......the hospice is not always about death, it is also about symptom control and ensuring patients learn to live well in the moment, make memories and spend time with those close to them. Just because they are dying does not mean they cannot live. We are charity funded and rely on the generous donations from the public and fundraising opportunities in order to be able to provide this service because, unfortunately our love, compassion and dedication cannot be traded like money can! Please help us continue the fabulous work the hospice does and provide the vital support that palliative patients need
