We are delighted to have partnered with the Purple Elephant Project as our 'Charity of the Year' from 2021-23. This is a wonderful local charity, based in South West London, supporting children and young people right on our doorsteps, experiencing mental health distress.

The charity provides therapeutic interventions, such as Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Filial (family) Therapy, for children who are experiencing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, aggression, school refusal, disordered eating, and many other signs of distress. All interventions are long-term and one-to-one, working together with parents and carers to provide life-long benefit. Families in financial hardship and children in care are prioritised, along with families who have recently been through the adoption process. 

Throughout our year of fundraising we really hope to make a significant difference to these children and families, which we can only do with your support. To put this in context, a donation of £40 could pay for one month's food and drink for children and parents visiting the centre; £126 could pay for two one-to-one therapy sessions, including all planning and preparation for a child in need; and £250 could facilitate the entire referral and planning process for child's 12-week therapeutic intervention.
