Purple Laughs · 8 March 2022

Women’s Aid Federation of England is the national charity working against domestic abuse. Alongside our campaigning, training, and advocacy projects, our direct support services, including our Live Chat Helpline, support thousands of women and their children to escape abuse every year.

Story

Purple Laughs will be a 2-hour live comedy event put on by our Live Events team from the University of Greenwich. We are donating all proceeds to Women’s Aid Federation of England, a non-profit organization working to end domestic abuse against women and children.

Our live event will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at Up the Creek Comedy Club to coincide with International Women’s Day. We are collaborating with a spectacular all-female talent line-up to create a women’s empowerment event. Attendees will come together through laughter to support women and children suffering from domestic abuse and raise awareness around Women's Aid Federation of England's cause-driven work.

This page is meant to raise funds for those who would like to donate to our event, but are unable to attend. Or, for those who want to give a little something extra. No amount is too small. Every pound makes a difference in helping transform the lives of women and children suffering from domestic abuse.

Please consider giving to this amazing cause! We appreciate you.
