The Junction supports young people aged 12 – 21 in Leith and North East Edinburgh, with their health and wellbeing. We offer a range of services that help young people build on their own strengths, so they more able to cope with their emotions and care for themselves.

Story

The Junction - Young people, Health and Wellbeing. Based in Leith, The Junction provides a safe, welcoming and confidential space for young people aged 12 to 21. The Junction offers various support services, alcohol and sexual health services and age appropriate counselling. 2015 is a milestone year for The Junction, which opened 10 years ago.

A team of keen and dedicated volunteers known as Junction EH11 are hoping to raise £10,000 and help celebrate the 10th anniversary whilst raising the profile of The Junction. We have a wide variety of activities planned for the year to raise money.

One of these activities is "10 Purple Miles" which is happening on Thursday 30th of April. This can either be a walk, run or cycle to The Junction which covers a distance of 10 miles. Already there a significant number of participants who are all eager to start! Entry fee for participants is £10 if you are travelling 10 miles, and £5 if you are starting from Haymarket. Please donate your entry fee accordingly on this page.

Donations of any value would be greatly appreciated. Please add gift aid when you can - this means we can claim back 25p every time someone donates £1 to The Junction which will really help us hit our fundraising targets.
