Before April 2011 I didn't really know anything about Pancreatic Cancer. Pancreatic Cancer only receives 1% of research spend although it is the 5th leading cause of cancer death in UK

April 22nd 2011, my life changed forever, my beloved husband Noel (54) was diagnosed with Primary Pancreatic Cancer which had metastised in his liver. He was given 6 months life expectancy. Noel fought with everything he had,right until this hideous disease took him from us November 25th 2011, 7 months after his diagnosis. Whilst fighting he managed to create so many wonderful memories for our children Ellie & Nathan (5&8) and his 3 children from his previous marriage Lynn Lisa & Graeme will cherish forever.

One of those cherished memories sparked our fundraising, we renewed our wedding vows 10 years to the date. Noel had only been released from hospital not even 24 hours before. 

On Nov 5th 2011 we held our first Purple Starlight Party of HOPE which he managed to attend. Sadly not 3 weeks later he was taken from us. 

My wonderful hero will be forever missed by everyone that knew & loved him, and in his name & honour I have pledged to continue fighting this deadly disease fundraising & raising awareness.
