Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've wanted to do something to raise money for Perennial for a while now and when this opportunity popped up on my Twitter timeline a few weeks ago it seemed like a great idea! Obviously the reality of the whole thing has started to kick-in ( I am HONESTLY scared of heights), but because I know it would give so many of you great pleasure to see me pushed out of a sky borne plane, I’m thought I'd give it a go.

I must be mad.

Charles Blumlein (Location Landscapes) has signed up too, and he's sworn to push me out if I lose my nerve (how kind?!?).

At least I'll be raising much-needed funds and awareness of this brilliant charity, even if I AM risking my life!!!!

ABOUT PERENNIAL:

Perennial offers free, confidential advice and support to everyone
working in or retired from horticulture and their families, including
gardeners, landscapers, nursery and garden centre staff, parks and grounds care
staff and tree surgeons. People turn to Perennial for financial and emotional
help in times of need because of disability, sickness, poverty, financial
hardship and old age – although increasingly younger people are seeking their
assistance. Many individuals describe the services Perennial offers as a
'lifeline'. The work of Perennial depends entirely on voluntary donations
from the horticultural industry and the garden-loving public.

·       £10 a month could help us pay for bunk beds for children currently sleeping on the floor or helps a Caseworker visit a client at home to assess their needs.

·       £5 a month could help pay for hospital travel costs for a client or allow us to purchase a computer screen magnifier for a client with sight loss.
