Story
Positively Putney presents Putney’s first recipe e-book celebrating the restaurants & cafes in the BID, featuring 20 eateries in SW15.
This book celebrates the delicious independent restaurants and cafes we have here in Putney’s town centre, with a selection of eateries offering one of their own recipes for you to create at home. Since the lockdown in March we know many have embraced their kitchens and have increased homecooking.
We hope you enjoy cooking these creations at home and please do continue to support our fantastic places to eat by booking a table for a treat.
All proceeds from this e-book will go to our local charity, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability.
Founded in 1854, the RHN is a well-respected, national charitable hospital and research centre, providing services for adults with severe brain injuries. This Putney-based community provides specialist care, therapies and innovative technologies to meet the complex needs of people with profound disabilities.
They pride themselves on caring for their patients as individuals, offering hope, as well as practical and emotional support to them and their families. Their team of occupational therapists encourage patients to become more
independent and use specially adapted kitchen facilities to help them create hearty, plentiful and tasty meals. Staff also assist patients to do chopping and peeling in lunch groups.
