Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The event is on the 8th May 2022

I was introduced to Crawley Open House in 2018 and am still struck by the amazing team and great things they are doing. They serve the homeless and disadvantaged of Crawley and the surrounding areas and have done so since 1994. They operate a 24 bed hostel, busy day centre, 3 move-on houses and a community outreach team.

I’ve run this for them before and this is the first event post-Covid, so would really love to raise a few more pounds along the way for them.

With your help we can make a few nights and days more comfortable for some less fortunate souls. Thank you so much in advance for helping me to help them.

As a UK registered charity (No. 1048919) they were part-funded by local government, but need to raise at least £400,000 each year themselves to keep doing what they do at a time when demand for their services has rarely been greater. People find themselves homeless for all sorts of reasons – please help me raise funds for our local homelessness charity working 24/7 365 days a year with those much less fortunate than ourselves, in this often overlooked situation.

Thank you for reading this far, and if you can support me in raising funds for them, thank you again!
