It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Please dig deep and sponsor the team online.

On September 16th we will be setting off to walk stage 3 of the Pyrenean Haute Route from Garvanie to Bagneres de Luchon in France. The trek will take approx 52 hours of walking over 7 days reaching heights of 3000m (9000ft). For the majority of the time the team will be self sufficient, carrying all that we need to camp on the mountains.

We have decided to use this tough trek to gather some sponsorship money for an extremely valuable cause, in this case we are donating all sponsorship to "Child First" at the Diana Princess of  Wales Children's Hospital in Birmingham (Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Trust) and more specifically the decoration of the new burns unit inline with the Children's request for a better environment for treatment.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Birmingham Children's Hospital Charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

By the way all who enter sponsorship will be allocated a number in our raffle being drawn on 7th October 8pm at Mile Oak Rovers Football Club. SO PLEASE make sure you offer an email address or add a Telephone contact number in with your LAST NAME in the appropriate input box.

Many thanks for your support.
