Since 1990, QEST has supported 800 individuals working across the UK in a broad range of traditional and contemporary crafts. In addition to financial support, the charity provides business masterclasses and opportunities for exhibitions, collaborations and commissions.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We have 27 runners in our Royal Warrant Holders Association team entering the 2011 Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon (www.royalparkshalf.com). We are hoping to raise as much as possible for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (www.qest.org.uk), the charitable arm of the RWHA.

The 27 runners either represent an area of the RWHA or QEST. Eight different Royal Warrant-holding companies are included: Vince Allonby, Sovereign Chemicals Limited; Chris Turner, Rokill Limited; Joanne Davies, Polybags Limited; Kevin Brush, Fairhurst Ward Abbotts Limited; Oliver Loveday, Paul Chandler, Janet Tynan & Simon Barratt, Champagne Lanson Père et Fils; Fraser Smart, David Broadbent, Chris Evans, Andrew Elliott, James Loveday, David Piltz, Philip Smith, Bethany Doughty, Peter Silcock & Amanda Cran, Buck Consultants Limited; Chris & Rosalind Craggs, McFarlane Telfer Limited; and Peter Howe & Terry Foreman, Kingswood Construction (London) Limited.

Georgina Asplin & Donald Masoperh will be representing the Royal Household Football, Sports and Social Club, while Rebecca Harvey (QEST Scholar, 2005) & Will Davis (QEST Administrator) will be representing the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.

QEST provides awards ranging up to £15,000 to craftsmen and women of all ages to help them further their careers. Since 1991 the Trust has awarded over £1.5 million to 242 craftspeople aged between 17 and 50 plus for study, training expeditions and work experience. QEST was established in 1990 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the RWHA and the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust receives your money more quickly and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure that 20% in Gift Aid is added to your donation.

So please sponsor this worthwhile charity!

Kind regards,
