Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 23rd June 2013, our team of 10 named Quality not Quantity will be taking part in the 'It's a Knockout Challenge' at Redlands Sports Hub, Weymouth.
The Charity
The event is to raise funds for a local charity called Diverse Abilities Plus which provides assistance, support and education to children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities; as well as supporting their families. The charity strives to be a lifetime partner to each beneficiary and is the only charity in Dorset working with disabled individuals and their families throughout every stage of their lives.
The event
The 'It's a Knockout' challenge will be using the original props and ganes that were part of the genuine BBC TV programmme. Teams compete against each other in all of the highly hilarious games!
We have raised some of our target by holding a cake sale and raffle at our workplace - Thank you too all involved a lot of money was raised and a lot of cake was eaten!!
Thank you to all the local companies that donated to the raffle - Toymaster Dorchester, Joshua's Dorchester, Healthy Habit Dorset (Weymouth), Cook Dorchester, Melbury Gallery Dorchester, Owen and Simpson Dorchester, The Guilded Teapot Dorchester, The Body Shop Dorchester and Hi Ho Silver Dorchester.
Please sponsor us for this event, it is for a fantastic cause and I am sure some hilarious photos of us all in action will follow!! :-D
